Arly is a river deep in the Alps whose source is located near the famous ski village of Megeve in South-Eastern France. The river cuts through the mountains forming profound and spectacular gorges before joining the larger Isere river near the 1992 Winter Olympics town of Albertville. In its course, the Arly flows through several ski and mountain resorts such as Praz-sur-Arly, Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe or Crest-Volland. This string of villages along the river form the picturesque “Val d’Arly Mont-Blanc” area.
Like its namesake, the ARLY expedition parka is the most iconic and technically advanced NIVOSE jacket. It combines both ruggedness and elegance and features all the technology available to make the wearer feel comfortable and free, from the artificial fur in the hood made of recycled PET bottles to the use of highly waterproof breathable fabric and of course our own Nivose’ Thermal Adjust Technology.
